Our Background

The World Championship Hot Wing Contest & Festival is a community‑driven event featuring food, music, contests, and fun—all with a greater purpose. The festival proudly raises funds to benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of Memphis and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, helping support children and families when they need it most.

As a World Championship Hot Wing Contest & Festival® (WCHWCF) partner, sponsors gain exposure to thousands of attendees while helping support the families served by Ronald McDonald House Charities of Memphis. To date, this nonprofit event has raised over $350,000 in financial support, making a meaningful impact in our community.

This signature fundraiser showcases the best of Memphis culture, featuring live music rooted in blues, soul, and rock & roll. The festival attracts a diverse audience of Memphians and regional visitors with an unquenchable appetite for great food, outdoor entertainment, and giving back.
